Dress like a lady: Classy over Trendy

Not every woman is fortunate enough to have someone in their family who provided the example of a strong, independent, successful woman when growing up. And not every woman is clear about how to be a lady and dress like a lady. VII CODE share you some ideas about this.

What’s your definition of “classy” and “trendy”? Classic is pretty generic, a fairly expensive, high quality item that will never go out of style. The idea of trendy is very fashionable or up to date in style or influence.

Speaking of trends, think of them as a simple summer T-shirt. Most likely it will only last one season and while it will make a statement immediately, it will date you the next year, so don’t spend too much money on the creative trends that are perpetually changing and instead invest in classics that you are in need of to add depth to your wardrobe.

Nice clothes make the woman look better, but very few guys could say why. Woman who look spectacular in for the most part classic styles, yet have pulled them together in a way that exhibits their own unique beauty. Trendy is here today and gone tomorrow. There’s not much sense in spending tons of money on an item that probably will only last for a season or two.

As Coco Chanel reminds us, “Fashion fades. Only style remains.” Knowing what clothes flatter our individual bodies best, which colors complement our skin tone and which cuts will never look stunning on us, we cultivate a style that is uniquely our own.

Now if you are a woman who has great taste and common sense, you undoubtedly have had many classic items of different kinds, no matter they are bags, clothes, shoes, skin care products or cosmetics.  A pair of Louis Vuitton jeans, a bottle of Channel perfume or a box of vii code eye cream, all are worth to have.

The beauty of being a modern lady is that you have a healthy confidence about yourself that doesn’t require a continuous patting on the back. —- VII CODE
